FSH News, Aston Bekasi – The Ministry of Religious Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia (Kemenag RI) held a coordination meeting on the Integrity Zone for Corruption-Free Area and Bureaucratic Reform Zone (ZI WBK) with institutions under Kemenag RI that passed the Self-Assessment for Integrity Zone Development (PMP ZI), one of which is the Faculty of Sharia and Law, UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta (7-9 August 2024).

The Secretary of the Inspectorate General of Kemenag RI, Kastolan, stated that the Integrity Zone is a miniature of bureaucratic reform implementation. "If an agency or work unit achieves the ZI WBK or WBBM (Excellent Public Service) award from KemenpanRB, it will become a role model for other government institutions," Kastolan explained (Thursday, 08/08/2024).

Additionally, the achievement of the ZI WBK WBBM can spread the culture of anti-corruption, high performance, and excellent public service in other work units. There are 30 work units that passed the PMP ZI assessment in the 2024 Directorate General of Islamic Education (Ditjen Pendis) and are proposed for evaluation by the national assessment team, including FSH UIN Jakarta.

As the first and only faculty to pass to the TPN (National Integrity Zone) stage, the Faculty of Sharia and Law received the Integrity Zone for Corruption-Free Area Plaque from the Inspectorate General of the Ministry of Religious Affairs. "This is a great honor and will be the first step for us to continue striving to become a faculty of integrity," said Dr. Afwan Faizin, M.A., Vice Dean for General Administration, while attending the ZI WBK Coordination Meeting.[LFM]
