FSH News, Theater Room, 2nd Floor – The Faculty of Sharia and Law (FSH) at UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta held a faculty meeting to discuss various academic achievements and strategic plans for the future (Tuesday, 25/02/2025).

In his opening remarks, Dean of FSH, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Maksum, S.H., M.A., MDC., announced that the faculty had officially received international accreditation from the Accreditation, Certification, and Quality Assurance Institute (ACQUIN). With this achievement, it is expected that the curriculum, legal issues, and academic studies within the faculty will continue to develop on a global scale.

The meeting also highlighted several other academic accomplishments. Currently, six study programs within FSH have been awarded excellent accreditation. Additionally, the Dean announced that an on-site assessment for the opening of the Doctoral Program in Sharia Studies would take place later this week. It is hoped that the program will soon start student enrollment and commence lectures in the 2025/2026 academic year.

As part of its academic development strategy, FSH is also aiming to establish a double-degree program with international universities. This initiative seeks to enhance graduate competitiveness and expand international collaborations in the fields of law and Islamic studies.

During the meeting, a training session on Microsoft Teams was also conducted for all faculty members in preparation for online lectures during Ramadan. This initiative aims to ensure a smooth learning process and facilitate students' participation in classes throughout the holy month.

With these achievements and well-structured strategic plans, FSH UIN Jakarta is strengthening its position as an internationally recognized institution for Islamic legal education. Additionally, the meeting featured a free health check-up service provided by the Faculty of Health Sciences at UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta.[LFM]
