The 135th Judicium of UIN Jakarta's Faculty of Sharia and Law: 115% Cumlaude Predicate, 41% Graduated on Time
FSH News, Theater Room, 2nd Floor – The Faculty of Sharia and Law at Syarif Hidayatullah State Islamic University Jakarta held its 135th Yudisium ceremony as part of the graduation preparation process. In this yudisium, a total of 172 prospective graduates officially completed their studies, with remarkable achievements—115% of graduates earned cum laude honors, and 41% graduated on time.
The head of the yudisium committee, Mufidah, S.H.I., M.H., highlighted in her report the increasing challenges that graduates face in the era of globalization. “Graduates today are not only required to have high intellectual capacity but also strong moral values and religious principles. As alumni of FSH UIN Jakarta, we are equipped not only with academic knowledge but also with a solid foundation in religious morals,” she stated (Friday, 21/02/2025).
The Dean of the Faculty of Sharia and Law, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Maksum, S.H., M.A., MDC., also expressed appreciation for the achievements of the prospective graduates and emphasized the uniqueness of the 135th batch of alumni. “This yudisium marks a historic moment, as this is the first batch of graduates from a study program that has not only earned an excellent accreditation from BAN-PT but has also received international accreditation from AQAS,” he remarked.
Furthermore, the Dean stressed the importance of upholding the reputation of the alma mater and continuously contributing to both professional and academic fields. “We hope all alumni remain committed to maintaining the faculty’s good name and continue to achieve excellence in the future,” he added.
The yudisium ceremony also featured a special theatrical performance presented by the academic programs, creating a meaningful moment for the prospective graduates as they prepare to enter the real world with its challenges and opportunities.
