Roadshow for Grade Input Training in E-Semesta Application by Faculty of Sharia and Law Lecturers
FSH News, 2nd Floor Theater – To enhance the efficiency and accuracy of academic data management, the Center for Information Technology and Database (Pustipanda) held a roadshow training session on inputting grades into the e-Semesta application. This event involved faculty members from the Faculty of Syariah and Law (FSH), who received intensive training on how to manage various features available within the application.
e-Semesta is an integrated platform that includes a wide range of services such as e-Financial, e-assets, ESDM, Website, Question Bank, e-Registration, e-Payments, and e-Academic. During the training, faculty members were guided on how to accurately and efficiently input student grades.
Prof. Dr. Muhammad Maksum, S.H., M.A., MDC., Dean of the Faculty of Syariah and Law, emphasized that the training aimed to ensure that all faculty members understood the functionality and advantages of the e-Semesta application. “This application is designed to simplify academic administration processes with integrated technology. This training will help faculty members gain confidence in using its features, including grade management,” said the Dean during his opening speech (Thursday, December 5, 2024).
The training was met with great enthusiasm. Technical teams from Pustipanda provided hands-on guidance, including simulations on entering grades and troubleshooting any technical issues. “We are greatly assisted by the guidance from the Pustipanda team. The instructions provided were clear and easy to understand,” said Dr. Afwan Faizin, M.A., one of the faculty participants.
Additionally, the training provided a platform for interactive discussions to enhance users' understanding of the application. Participants were encouraged to share feedback and ask questions about the features available in e-Semesta.
Through this roadshow, it is hoped that the implementation of e-Semesta at the Faculty of Syariah and Law will run optimally and serve as a model for other faculties. Similar sessions are planned for other faculties to expand the use of the application across the campus.
This training is expected to foster continued collaboration between faculty and Pustipanda, resulting in more modern and integrated administrative management.[LFM]
