FSH News, 2nd Floor Theater Room – After the faculty meeting to welcome the new academic year, the Faculty of Sharia and Law continued the event with a meeting of the Consortium of Sharia and Law Sciences, chaired by Prof. Dr. Asmawi, M.Ag., and Dr. Nahrowi, S.H., M.H.

In this meeting, Prof. Asmawi, as the Chair of the Sharia Science Consortium, explained the structural organization that will be a shared responsibility. “The Sharia Science division consists of several sub-divisions, each with a qualified coordinator according to their expertise,” he explained on Tuesday, August 27, 2024. This consortium serves as a strong partner for the development of knowledge, particularly in the discussion of academic disciplines.

The meeting continued with a discussion session on the consortium of Sharia and Law Sciences, which included topics such as strengthening Sharia knowledge and enhancing institutional communication regarding Sharia studies. The consortium aims to adapt and accommodate these aspects into its framework. Prof. Asmawi also expressed the hope of publishing a book on Sharia knowledge to support the further development of Sharia studies.[LFM]
