FSH NEWS, Madya Meeting Room – The Faculty of Sharia and Law (FSH) at UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta held its first committee meeting for the 9th International Conference on Law and Justice (ICLJ) 2025. The meeting was led by Dr. Masyrofah, S.Ag., M.Si., who has been appointed as the Chairperson of the Organizing Committee to coordinate the preparation of this prestigious annual conference.

During the meeting, the committee discussed various technical and academic preparations to ensure the smooth execution of the 9th ICLJ. One of the key decisions made was to continue collaborations with universities and institutions in Malaysia and Thailand. Additionally, this year’s ICLJ aims to expand its network across five continents, with Australia and the Netherlands already establishing partnerships for the conference.

In his speech, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Maksum, S.H., M.A., MDC., Dean of FSH, expressed his hope that ICLJ 2025 would serve as a strategic initiative in the faculty’s internationalization process. He emphasized that by collaborating with various global institutions, FSH could continue to enhance academic quality and broaden its scholarly influence on an international scale.

"We hope that the 9th ICLJ will further strengthen international academic networks and serve as a platform for scholars and legal practitioners to share ideas and innovations in the fields of law and justice. With the expansion of international partnerships, we are optimistic that FSH UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta will gain greater global academic recognition," stated the Dean of FSH (Monday, 03/02/2025).

ICLJ 2025 is set to feature various distinguished speakers from both local and international backgrounds, focusing on contemporary legal issues and social justice from a global perspective. The organizing committee is confident that this conference will make a significant contribution to the development of legal studies and policies in the field of law and justice.
