FSH News, 2nd Floor Theater Room – On Tuesday, September 17, 2024, the Moot Court Community (MCC) of UIN Jakarta held a Handover of Position (sertijab) and Inauguration ceremony for the 2024-2025 MCC administrators. The event took place from 09:00 to 11:45 WIB in the Theater Room on the 2nd floor of the Faculty of Sharia and Law building at UIN Jakarta. The ceremony was attended by Prof. Dr. Muhammad Maksum, M.H., MDC, the Dean of FSH UIN Jakarta, Prof. Dr. Kamarusdiana, M.H., the Vice Dean for Student Affairs, and Mr. Nurrohim, the representative of the MCC UIN Jakarta Supervisor Lecturer.

The inauguration of the management was carried out based on the Decree of the Dean of the Faculty of Sharia and Law UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta No. 54 Year 2024 concerning the Management of the Semi-Autonomous Organization (LSO) Moot Court Community. The event began with an opening by the master of ceremonies, followed by a recitation of holy verses from the Quran, and the singing of the "Indonesia Raya" song and the UIN Jakarta Hymn as a form of gratitude and pride.

The second speech was delivered by Mr. Nur Rohim Yunus, S.H., LLM., Ph.D., a representative of the MCC Supervisor at UIN Jakarta. In his speech, he emphasized that the Moot Court Community (MCC) is a valuable platform for FSH students seeking to achieve academic excellence. He also entrusted the new management with the responsibility of becoming more active and striving for greater accomplishments. He highlighted that MCC must continue to grow and gain recognition from other universities as a distinguished faculty. He expressed his hope that, in the future, MCC will become an LSO that brings pride to FSH.

The third speech was delivered by Prof. Dr. Kamarusdiana, M.H., the Vice Dean for Student Affairs. He expressed his full support for MCC and assured that the faculty would provide all necessary resources to help the organization achieve great accomplishments. He also shared his hope that UIN Jakarta's MCC would not only gain national recognition but also become known for its achievements in the international arena, particularly within ASEAN. He encouraged the new MCC administrators to master English and Arabic, as these languages would be key assets and add value to MCC in the global context.

The final speech was delivered by Prof. Dr. Muhammad Maksum, M.H., MDC, who also led the reading of the pledge for the new board for the 2024-2025 period. He expressed his hope that the next MCC administration would increase participation in competitions, not only at the national level but also regionally (ASEAN). He encouraged MCC to aim for involvement in international competitions in the coming year. Prof. Maksum also emphasized that FSH is fully committed to supporting MCC in every competition, both materially and immaterially.

After the inauguration of the new MCC UIN Jakarta administrators for the 2024-2025 period, the new chairman, Eki Nurdiansyah, delivered a speech. He encouraged all the new administrators for 2024-2025 to continuously learn, improve, and strive for excellence within MCC.[LFM]
