FSH Records 268 Prospective Graduates, the Highest Number in Its History

FSH News, 2nd Floor Theatre Room - Faculty of Sharia and Law Holds the 134th Graduation Ceremony. The Faculty of Sharia and Law (FSH) held its 134th graduation ceremony with the theme "Realization of a Competitive Generation Towards Advanced Indonesia," marking the largest number of participants in FSH history, with a total of 268 prospective graduates.

In his address, the Dean of FSH, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Maksum, S.H., M.A., MDC., expressed his hope that, upon graduation, alumni would not only possess strong legal skills but also uphold Islamic values and honesty. "Wherever you work, your connection to the UIN alma mater will always be present. Be proud to be a UIN alumnus, recognized for your competence, not only as a Bachelor of Law with integrated scientific knowledge but also for your religious and moral integrity," he advised the prospective graduates on Wednesday, November 13, 2024.

Furthermore, Diana Mutia Habibaty, S.E.Sy., M.H., the Chairperson of the Graduation and Release Committee, provided a report on the event, which was held in two sessions: the morning and the afternoon. "The large number of prospective graduates today reflects the level of competence you all possess. Therefore, as a competitive generation, you must continue to address the increasingly complex challenges of our time by creating innovations for an advanced Indonesia," said the Secretary of the Sharia Economic Law (Muamalat) Study Programme.

The Mazhab Comparison Study Programme had the largest number of prospective graduates and produced the best graduate of the Faculty in the undergraduate program, Nuzulia Azizah Al Lailiyah, who achieved a GPA of 3.94. "Standing here on behalf of all the 134th prospective graduates, I would like to express my gratitude to all the lecturers of the Faculty of Sharia and Law and the administrative staff who have consistently provided knowledge and supported us throughout our education at FSH, enabling us to become competent Bachelor of Laws graduates," said Nuzulia in her speech as the best graduate of the Faculty.[LFM]
