Establishing Cooperation between FSH and UNHCR
FSH News, The Faculty of Sharia and Law (FSH) initiated a collaboration with UNHCR, with communication led by Dr. Fitria, Head of the Law Study Program, on Tuesday, 29th October 2024. The process of establishing this cooperation began with an online discussion, followed by a training session for lecturers on the topic of war law.
Mrs. Emily Bojovic, UNHCR Asia Pacific Representative, and Dwita Aryani, UNHCR Indonesia Representative, attended the meeting at FSH. In addition to the lecturer training activities, the meeting aimed to discuss potential opportunities for collaboration between FSH and UNHCR. During an informal discussion, Emily, Aryani, Muhammad Maksum, and Fitria reached an agreement on the cooperation. The collaboration will include seminars, book publications, and campaigns on the laws of war and refugees, aligning with both international legal standards and Sharia principles. Following this agreement, an online seminar will be held featuring speakers from both FSH and UNHCR.[MM]
