Constitutional Law Fest 2024 Officially Opened
FSH News, Theatre Room 2 – The Constitutional Law Study Program Student Association (HMPS) officially launched the Constitutional Law Fest (CLF) alongside a National Seminar in collaboration with the Judicial Commission of the Republic of Indonesia. The grand opening of CLF was inaugurated by the Vice Rector for Academic Affairs, Prof. Dr. Ahmad Tholabi, S.Ag., S.H., M.H., M.A., on Monday, September 9, 2024.
The evolving dynamics of political and constitutional law have inspired students of Constitutional Law (HTN) to delve deeper into issues concerning state law. The National Seminar aims to broaden participants' knowledge and reinforce the rule of law in Indonesia. "CLF will span an entire week, featuring a variety of academic and non-academic competitions at the national level," said [Name], Chairman of HMPS HTN (Siyasah).
Prof. Tholabi expressed his profound appreciation for the efforts of the HMPS management and the organizing committee in arranging this significant event. “Beyond ensuring the success of this event, we hope it leaves a lasting legacy for HTN students and becomes a source of pride for HTN students at UIN Jakarta,” he stated following the opening of CLF 2024.
The Judicial Commission (KY) is a prominent state institution with a critical role in upholding judicial integrity in Indonesia. Established during the reform era, KY holds a strategic position in strengthening the judiciary's spirit and credibility. Prof. (HC) Dr. Joko Sasmito, S.H., M.H., a member of the Judicial Commission of the Republic of Indonesia, was honored as a guest speaker at the National Seminar of the Constitutional Law Fest (CLF).
In the second session, a Public Lecture and Book Review featured distinguished speakers, including Binziad Khadafi, S.H., LLM., Ph.D. (Member of the Indonesian Judicial Commission), Dr. H. Wahidudin Adams, S.H., M.A. (Constitutional Court Judge, 2014–2024), and M. Tanziel Aziezi, S.H. (Executive Director of the Institute for Independent Judicial Studies and Advocacy).
