FSH News, Madya Meeting Room – The editorial team of Jurnal Yuridika from the Faculty of Law, Universitas Airlangga (UNAIR), Surabaya, visited Jurnal Ahkam of the Faculty of Sharia and Law (FSH), UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta, to establish a partnership in preparation for an upcoming International Conference.

The Dean of the Faculty of Sharia and Law, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Maksum, S.H., M.A., MDC., along with the Vice Dean for Student Affairs, Alumni, and Cooperation, Prof. Dr. Kamarusdiana, M.H., and Jurnal Ahkam’s Chief Editor, Prof. Dr. Khamami, S.H., M.A., MDC., warmly welcomed the Jurnal Yuridika team. “Welcome to FSH. Hopefully, this collaboration can extend to joint research or even online seminars to facilitate our partnership,” said Prof. Maksum, opening the meeting on Tuesday, September 3, 2024.

Dr. Maradona, S.H., LL.M., Vice Dean for Research, Publication, Community Service, and Cooperation (Vice Dean III, Faculty of Law, UNAIR), expressed the purpose of their visit: to invite Jurnal Ahkam to collaborate as a partner for the International Conference scheduled for November.

“We will hand over all submitted articles to partner journals to assess their eligibility for publication in Scopus-indexed journals,” explained Dr. Maradona.

Additionally, the Chief Editor of Jurnal Yuridika, Prawitra Thalib, encouraged authors to cite articles from Jurnal Ahkam. “We also hope that the Jurnal Yuridika team from UNAIR and the Jurnal Ahkam team from UIN Jakarta can mutually guide and motivate each other,” he added.

Prof. Dr. Khamami, S.H., M.A., MDC., further suggested that the collaboration could include joint publications and involvement as a partner in the International Conference on Law and Justice hosted by FSH, UIN Jakarta.[LFM]
