FSH News, Jakarta – Ahmad Anta Rahmatullah, a 4th-semester student of the Family Law Program at FSH, achieved 1st place in the Debate Competition at the 7th PAI Festival (PAVESTA), held at Universitas Muhammadiyah Prof. Dr. Hamka (UHAMKA).

This was his first experience participating in a debate competition, and Rahmatullah expressed deep emotions regarding the preparation process he went through for the event. "This wasn’t by coincidence; the time I invested in continuous practice paid off with the title I received," he said emotionally (Wednesday, June 19, 2024).

He shared his journey leading up to the debate competition, including studying Matter, Manner, Method, mastering the art of rebuttals, making arguments, handling interruptions, and delivering effective and eloquent rhetoric. This extraordinary experience has inspired him to keep pushing himself to achieve more. "Because, in truth, the land that is given life is only meant for humility," said the accomplished student.

In closing, Rahmatullah also shared a piece of advice: “Stay confident and humble. People may call it arrogance, but I call it self-confidence. For me, confidence is the key to success,” he concluded.[LFM]
