FSH News — Faculty of Sharia and Law UIN Jakarta (FSH) is holding its 133rd graduation yudisium on August 22, 2024. The event, held in the 2nd floor Theatre Hall, was attended by graduates, faculty leaders, lecturers, and other invited guests.

This graduation marks an important milestone in the academic journey for 143 graduates who have successfully completed their studies in various curricula available at FSH. In his greeting, the Dean of FSH Prof. Dr. Muhammad Maksum, S.H., M.A., MDC. expressed his appreciation and generosity to the graduates that have shown perseverance, dedication, and high youth spirit during the course of education at this campus.

"The graduates we release today are real proof that the future of the Indonesian nation is in the right hands. You are all a generation of successors who will bring change and innovation in various sectors, especially in the fields of Shariah and law. I hope that the knowledge you have gained at FSH can be of benefit to the wider community and bring the name of both the almamater in the national and international arena," the Dean said in his speech.

The graduation ceremony was also filled with a range of activities, ranging from graduate consolidation processions, appointment of alumni chairmen, alumni perpetual fund-raising, betawi dance performances from UIN Jakarta Pramuka UKM, music performances by students to awards to student achievements. One of the most appalling moments was when the graduates were summoned one by one to give a salem speech directly from the faculty leadership.

One of the best graduates, Muhammad Alfarizi Firdaus of the Law Studies Program, was also given the opportunity to give a representative speech. In his speech, Andi expressed his gratitude to all the lecturers and staff of FSH who have guided him all this time, as well as to parents and families who have always provided support.

"I feel very grateful to be part of the FSH. The experience I gained here not only equipped me with science, but also shaped the character and values that I will carry throughout my life. I promise to continue to work and give the best for the nation and country," Firdaus said enthusiastically.

The graduation ceremony ended with a joint prayer and photo session. The students also came out of the hall with a smiling smile, bringing their big dreams into the real world.[EH]
